Sami shares his story of finding comedy – and political satire in particular – as a way to cope with political instability in Pakistan, and how he brought those insights to his work as a comedian in Australia. He shares his reflections on the possibilities and limits of comedy, while also sharing some of its methods. He speaks of a way of seeing the powerful that uses ridicule to show that they aren’t infallible.
